Ritt Momney, begun by Jack Kutter (keys, vocals), was joined by Shane T (his stage name!) and drummer Rick West. Adorning a baseball cap and a black hoodie, Kutter made the crowd fall in love. His setlist (made up of bangers like HEADSTART) and vocals were entrancing. Production was filled with stage lights, saturated with immense color. The backdrop amplified Ritt Momney’s set, completing each song with a visual element. And the vibe? Amazing. The fog machine tied it all together. Put Your Records On got the crowd moving; they danced with one another and screamed lyrics in the air. It was ethereal.
All in all, Ritt Momney’s performance in Boston was a ten out of ten: one of the best openers I’ve seen to this day.
