CHARLOTTE, NC | FEBRUARY 21, 2023 | BY RYLEE MARSHALL

Colony House made a big splash in Charlotte, NC for one of the first shows on The Cannonballers Tour. They gave the people a night of light, love and liveliness. This band is now approaching their 10th year together, and it shows. Their chemistry is astounding and the command that they have over the audience is mesmerizing.

The lead singer, Caleb Chapman’s charismatic personality had everyone awestruck. He enthusiastically picked someone from the crowd to come up on stage with the band and play the guitar part in their song “2:20”. Playing the song with one of their fans truly made the audience feel so connected and involved with Colony House.

This band is one of few that seems to simultaneously incorporate several genres into their music. From heavier songs with guitar solos, to stripped down ballads, Colony House has it all. Closing out the show with one of their timeless hits, they made sure that nobody wanted the night to end. Seeing Colony House live reminds you just how incredible live shows can be!
