Greta Van Fleet brought The Dreams In Gold Tour to Huntington, WV on an August night. Greta Van Fleet is a Michigan-born band consisting of brothers Joshua Kiszka (vocals), Jacob Kiszka (guitar), Samuel Kiszka (bass guitar and keys), and Daniel Wagner (drums). Following the release of their studio album “The Battle At Garden’s Gate,” the band set off on tour beginning in their home state of Michigan before traveling internationally to South America, Central America, and Europe. Now they’re continuing their North American run which consists of arena shows coast-to-coast. This rock band knows how to bring every walk of life under the same roof. After having been given nods for reviving the rock genre, they’ve appealed to all ages which can be seen in their audiences. Their fans have a next level of dedication. Enough to stand in the pouring rain that occurred just before doors opened in Huntington. The show that these guys put on is one of love, warmth, and excitement. You never know what you’re going to get from them as they often change up their setlist and throw in a few surprises here and there. One of those surprises in Huntington, being Josh Kiszka sporting a new-do. A mullet that shocked many when the curtain fell.
Sending messages throughout the show through music and words, Greta Van Fleet spends a night of celebration with every individual in the room. A celebration of light and love. You can see it in them and in their fans. Their fans travel from all across the country to see these shows with friends they met through their shared love of music. They demonstrate the band’s mantra of peace, love, unity, and equality. Their Dreams In Gold Tour continues across North America through November.
