Miami-based instrumental, psychedelic jazz-funk collective Himalayan Salt Band recently closed out the night at Wynwood’s Savage Labs with their hypnotic grooves. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic range of genres, Himalayan Salt Band weaves together elements of prog rock, funk, contemporary jazz and world music. Each member – which includes guitarist Isidro Anzola, bassist Mauricio Hernandez, guitarist Aidan Finn and drummer Harry Schwartz – brings their distinct cultural background, infusing the band's sound with rich and diverse influences. The quartet was accompanied by Ukrainian violinist Kostia Lukyniuk during their performance.
