Hippo Campus came to Charlotte touring for their new album ‘LP3’ and they made sure to deliver. This band is a five person group made up of Jake Luppen on lead vocals and guitar, Nathan Stocker on lead guitar, Zach Sutton on bass, Whistler Allen on drums, and trumpeter Decarlo Jackson. Opening up the show with some fan favorites the crowd was eager and excited for more. Decarlo Jackson brings a wonderful liveliness with his skills playing the trumpet. The crowd couldn't have had a better time dancing around and yelling out the lyrics. The way these five people work together to bring amazing music to the audience is an act that must be seen live.
