We are not normal which doesn’t mean we need to be medicated. A dose of relatability and just as weird an artist can do the job nicely. For those who would play with their shadows, scream at the drywall and can not fathom more than just the present moment, well, Jean Dawson’s the gift for bohemians, misfits and fuck ups. Between the audience’s halloween costumes and the violently tamed energy being displayed on stage there was an unwarranted feeling as if you took a drop straight into wonderland. A night illustrated by surreal faces, piled audio distortions and eardrum wrenching bass really captured the name of this tour, CHAOS NOW*.
