Touring her sophomore album MOSS, singer and actress Maya Hawke stopped in Chicago for a sold out show at the beautiful Metro this past weekend. Hawke’s performance included a constant wind blowing in her hair and hand movements making it look as if she were floating above the stage. Her set list included tracks off of the new album as well as her first album Blush, unreleased music, and covers scattered throughout the show. Fans were eager to sing along to the indie melodies of her music and leave gifts for Hawke in the front of the venue to show their love. With this being said, throughout her dreamy performance, there was no shortage of crowd interaction and appreciation for selling out one of Chicago’s most iconic venues.
