Meet Me @ the Altar brought the energy to Austin, Texas the other week packing the house at the ever popular Antone’s Nightclub. Original recipients of artist Halsey’s Black Creators Fund, the 3-piece, all-girl band is making waves in the pop-punk scene with their upbeat songs and ever present talent. Their single ‘Say It (To My Face)’ is a clear example of their ability to emulate the early 2000s pop-punk vibe while bringing a fresh, modern sound unique to them. This tour is Meet Me @ The Altar’s first ever headlining tour and Austin showed out. The crowd reciprocated the band’s energy throughout the night and certainly “passed the vibe check” as stated by lead singer, Edith. It is clear the band enjoys playing together and appreciates the support they receive from these shows as they bantered with each other and the crowd all night long making for a very entertaining night!
