Mothé (like the bug) brought their groove to The Fillmore’s Underground in Charlotte for the first time. Tracks from their debut album titled “I don’t want you to worry anymore” were featured during their opening set for The Wrecks. Their set was filled with energy and love flowing from stage to crowd. Mothé took a moment before playing her unreleased song “photobooth” to give a message to all LGBTQ+ people in the audience to exist loudly, and she hoped that they would find some comfort in the song. Thanks to track like this and “it’s okay to feel lonely,” Mothé created an environment for everyone to feel comfortable and supported in who they are. They closed with their single “Debt Collector” which was the magical ending to what was thought to be the last fans were to see of them. Along with their own set, she also came back on stage to play guitar with The Wrecks’ and to sing the track “Where Are You Now?” with The Wrecks’ Nick Anderson and Girlhouse’s Lauren Luiz to help close out the night
