CHARLOTTE, NC | JUNE 13, 2023 | BY RYLEE MARSHALL

Noah Kahan came to the Skyla Credit Union Amphitheater in Charlotte, NC for his sold out show on his Stick Season tour. This show was just a couple days after his release of “We’ll All Be Here Forever”, the extended version of “Stick Season”! He told the crowd how honored he was to be able to play at all three venues at this location! His performance live is very magnetic and charming. He is also very good at giving advice in between different songs as he tells stories. He shared how helpful therapy is and that even the happiest person in the room would benefit from it. He also shared how nice it is to do things alone sometimes, and to have time to yourself. He talked about being alone right before performing “You’re Gonna Go Far”, a sweet song encouraging someone not to feel bad for leaving home. He said that there's one song he always performs live to honor his friend that passed. It’s really beautiful that he shares that with the audience and always performs “Carlo’s Song” for him. His vocals are incredible live, and hearing him scream the bridge to the newer song “Your Needs, My Needs” with all the crowd screaming along was amazing! He has such a humble attitude and can even joke about himself on stage. Towards the end of his show he brought out his opener Joy Oladokun to help him in performing “Stick Season”. Closing out the show with one of his older songs “Mess” the entire crowd was screaming along! “We’ll All Be Here Forever” is a masterpiece of an album and everyone should go hear it live while you have the chance!
