GALLERY: The Hydrant

As part of their Java tour, The Hydrant put on an impressive show at Penny Lane in Jakarta. The energy in the room was palpable as the band members, Marshello, Vincent, Adi, Chris and additional band member, Magda, showed off their talent and musical skills.
Throughout the night, The Hydrant, played a mix of favourites including Bali Bandidos, Jalan Jalan and Whisky Warrior. Vincent's guitar and Adi's bass solos effortlessly ripped through the audience cheering and applauding. Chris' drumming was spot-on, driving the band forward and keeping the beat steady. Marshello's strong vocals and charisma got everyone involved in their performance, dancing and singing and leaving everyone involved.
In addition to their own material, the band also played tribute to some of the rockabilly legends including Tutty Frutty and It is Now or Never by Elvis Presley. La Bamba was a particular highlight, with the crowd singing along to every word.
The band's stage presence was also outstanding, with their pompadour hairstyle and flashy outfits. This combined with their musical talent captivated the audience.
Despite the fact that The Hydrant have been performing for almost 20 years, their music still feels fresh and exciting. The public was made of fans of all ages, from young rockabilly enthusiasts to older fans who have been following the band since the earliest days.
