LOS ANGELES, CA | MAY 18, 2023 | BY KELLIE CHEN

Valley’s first of two shows in Los Angeles for their Lost In Translation tour was nothing short of phenomenal. In contrast to their last tour, the production and set design was evident of their quick growth as a band. From static TVs building up anticipation to hanging telephone lines during a Valley classic “A Phone Call In Amerstdam” and showers of confetti at the end, each and every little detail put into the show was evident and curated an unforgettable escape.

Alluding to their earlier days and a homage to their earlier fans, a Valley show is never complete without live performances off their first ever album MAYBE, including the iconic “Sports Car”. Contrasting revisiting their beginnings, Valley even played an unreleased song at the time “Have a Good Summer (Without Me)”, the crowd coming to a hush watching in complete adoration for the new single, swaying to the beat and even singing along to the chorus.

Valley continues to have an unimaginable stage presence. With Rob consistently running across the stage, bending over and even running into the crowd, Mickey never losing energy as he continuously jumps up and down and being an absolute rock star on the guitar, Karah leaving the crowd in an immediate transe everytime she has a solo, and Alex bringing endless energy and even carrying Rob on his shoulders, Valley shows continue to be an unparalleled experience.
