Careabout is a new five-piece band based in Austin, Texas. What began as a passion project between Jacob Silvia and Kylie Bly in December 2024, soon after shaped into a five-piece consisting of Kylie Bly (guitar and vocals), Jacob Silvia (drums), Derek Ivy (lead guitar), Gabe Poliakoff (bass), and Helen Lundy (violin). Careabout’s sound is best described as “Tweemo”, mixing elements of twee and indie emo. Careabout took the stage first at Mohawk for Modernform’s release show for their latest album Sculpture Garden. Friends and family of the band showed up early to support the group at their third show since their formation. Careabout delivered a naturally magnetic performance and showgoers got a glimpse into the start of something you'd truly hate to miss out on. As of now music is still in works with prospects of recording soon!
