FIRSTBANK AMPHITHEATER | FRANKLIN, TN | OCTOBER 1ST, 2024 | BY KARLI TURMAN

The Midwest Princess herself, Chappell Roan, took the stage to a sold-out show at FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, TN.  Chappell encouraged fans to dress the theme “Midwest Princess” and they fully embraced the vibe, creating a massive sea of glitter, camo, and baby pink, to match Chappell's love for funky fashion and her Midwestern upbringing.

From the moment she stepped onto the stage, the energy was high and carried through the remainder of the show. Chappell delivered an unforgettable performance, blending her powerful vocals with high energy choreography and eye-catching visuals. Each song resonated with the fans, who screamed every lyric, creating a chorus of voices that filled the amphitheater.

The set list includes fan favorites such as HOT TO GO!, Good Luck, Babe, and Casual. Chappell engaged with the crowd, sharing personal stories and moments that deepened the connection with her fans. She shared about the struggles she had been facing but that being face to face with her fans made all the stress and struggle worth it.

“I need this to be reminded of why I do this. I can see you and feel you and that's what is important. I needed this so bad when I was 15. I felt so completely misunderstood and very alone. I really needed a place where people weren't going to make fun of me for how I dressed or who I liked. And so, I hope you know you are wanted here and you're welcome here however you are and wherever you are in your life. You are loved and you are cherished”

 -Chappell Roan

Wrapping up the night with the song that started it all, Pink Pony Club, Chappell dropped a massive disco ball from the ceiling, turning the vibe up to a whole new level! The lights were bouncing around the crowd and the rocks surrounding the amphitheater. It was a magical night under the stars with Chappell and one fans will remember forever.
