It’s been a little over a year since we last saw Eric Bellinger in Texas. Last night in Dallas, Bellinger ruled the House of Blues main stage as the king of R&B, playing hit after hit and the crowd was guaranteed to know every word to every single song. Accompanied by a few seamless outfit changes and set swaps, Bellinger took fans back to each era of his Rebirth albums and constantly praised the day one fans. The Rebirth 3 Tour not only highlighted Bellinger's musical talents but also celebrated his accomplishments as a songwriter and producer. From penning hits for artists like Usher, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber to releasing his own chart-topping albums, Bellinger's influence on the industry was evident throughout the show. His DJ voices praises by playing a few songs Eric has written for artists like “Link Up” by Neyo and “On Chill” by Wale, he boasts to the crowd “I don’t know if y’all knew, but Eric Bellinger definitely wrote your favorite song.” Engaging with the audience, he even sought out which songs they hadn't heard yet before playing “G.O.A.T.” ensuring that everyone's favorite track got its moment. Towards the end of his set, Bellinger brought out opener Zae France to perform their collaboration "Backstage" from his latest album. As the night wound down and fans lingered outside of the venue, praises for Bellinger's performance filled the air, affirming that "he never disappoints," a sentiment shared by everyone in attendance.
