Austin locals spent last Thursday night wrapped in the rustic charm of Scoot Inn, where The Green put on a show that gave reggae fans a taste of the islands amidst a rainy Texas chill. In the heart of Austin's vibrant music scene, the band from Oahu, brought out all the cheehoos from the Hawaiian locals in the crowd and their cheers could be heard from the rooftops of the apartments nearby. They played a mix of all their eras and played a few tracks from their self titled debut album. Each member brought their own unique energy to each song, feeding off the crowd's enthusiasm and feeding it back tenfold. During their encore, the band welcomed opener, Mike Love to the stage to share yet another beautiful moment to cover Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds.” The whole show from start to finish was nothing short of magical—a testament to the power of music to unite and inspire such a diverse crowd of people.
