GALLERY: The Driver Era
LOS ANGELES, CA | JUNE 11, 23 | BY TESSA BANNISTER
The LA band The Driver Era performed for nearly an hour and a half at the Greek Theatre, kicking into full throttle for their biggest hits, slowing it down, and sharing a few unexpected surprises along the way, including a mini-R5 reunion, surprise guests, and some visual talent in the form of graceful dancers added to the mix. The Driver Era is primarily a duo made up of Ross Lynch and Rocky Lynch on lead guitar, third brother Riker on bass, Garrison Jones on keys, and Dave Briggs on drums. The Greek audience knew they were in for a surprise unlike any other event when the youngest brother of The Driver Era, Ryland Lynch, and close friend and Ross Lynch's Austin & Ally co-star, Calum Worthy, took the stage to welcome the band. The gentlemen pumped up the crowd by announcing that several cameras, including drones, would be documenting the evening's activities and that fans should keep an eye out for more information on the project's release.
