The Undercover Dream Lovers supported STRFKR on the last show on the 2022 Tour. The LA-based dream pop, psychedelic indie-rock band was created by Matt Koenig, songwriter and producer. The band led by Koenig (vocals), also consists of Daniel Possehl (drums), Elisa McAfee (keys, vocals), Brendan Snyder (bass), and Jacob Cummings (keys). 

On August 5th, 2022, The Undercover Dream Lovers undoubtedly floored the audience with their passion for music. Being direct support for STRFKR, there was an expectation from the crowd for a brilliant performance… and they achieved that goal easily. Songs such as “Let Go” and “Up All Night” floored the audience. These two hits established a dream-like and groovy vibe that immediately gained the attention of concert-goers. The Undercover Dream Lovers also utilized everything the Brooklyn Bowl had to offer; a disco ball and strobe lights which seamlessly amplified their stage presence. Their performance complimented STRFKR perfectly, offering the show a fluid transition. This was definitely a show to remember. 

Being a small band with 8,000+ followers on Instagram, it is clear that they remain “underhyped.” That needs to be changed. The Undercover Dream Lovers has the potential to uplift the entire psychedelic indie-rock genre. We recommend that you check out their latest single “Can’t You Just See.”
