Twenty One Pilots put on one of the most incredible live shows around. After entering the stage in a midst of fog, fake snow and a lot of screaming fans, they brought the entire crowd into their world. By the second song, lead man Tyler Joseph was jumping off the stage and into the pit, previewing the energy that was to come in the night, such as crowd surfing on an air mattress, Josh Dun crowd surfing with his drum kit and even a "campfire" portion of the set. The energy that Twenty One Pilots brought to the arena was one that most bands aspire to have and remains untouched by anything I have ever seen. Part of what made this show so incredible was the fans of the band, and the respect the band had for the fans. It’s very on brand of them to end every single show they have with the simple phrase “We’re Twenty One Pilots and so are you” and they do mean it. They constantly thanked their dedicated followers for being around, and its always an incredible sight to see the love for the music go both ways. All in all “The Icy Tour” was an insane and wonderful night and I believe everyone should see Twenty One Pilots live at least once.
