Giant Rooks brought their “How Have You Been?” world tour to Charlotte, NC! Giant Rooks are an indie band from Hamm, Germany. Their band includes Frederick Rabe, lead vocals/guitar, Luca Göttner, bass guitar, Finn Thomas, drums, Jonathan Wischniowski, keys, and Finn Schwieters, lead guitar. Giant Rooks brought the people of Charlotte so much energy! From the moment that they came on stage, they never stopped moving! Fred Rabe has the most captivating voice that melted the hearts of everyone in the venue. He has a deep, almost raspy voice that you can’t get out of your head! Even when they slowed it down and Fred stepped away from the microphone, his voice still pierced through the crowd!
They made sure to play some fan favorites such as “Wild Stare”, and “Heat Up”, but they mostly played tracks off of their newest album, also titled “How Have You Been?”. This band had me mesmerized every minute they were on stage! They had the entire crowd singing along and jumping to the most exciting songs! After I left the show the songs were stuck in my head for hours! This band was such a privilege to get to watch perform! I’m so excited for what they do next!
