GALLERY: Modern Alibi

Modern Alibi, an alternative band out of Charlotte, NC, played a sold out headline show at the Neighborhood Theatre earlier in January and followed it up with another sellout only two weeks later at The Evening Muse. Started by lead singer, Holden Scott, Modern Alibi has inserted themselves as a prominent force in the Charlotte music scene and plan to release their first single on February 24th to all streaming platforms. They played the single "Seventies” at both shows and it was a hit with the crowd, also gaining traction on social media. They also performed covers of Harry Styles’ “Kiwi” and Royal Blood’s “Figure It Out.” The band worked the crowd in a foolproof way with songs that they could not resist joining in on. With sounds similar to the alternative rock greats, Modern Alibi is one to keep your eye on if you want to use the phrase “I listened to them before they were big” in the future.
