BOSTON, MA | FEBRUARY 10TH, 2023 | BY TONY LAM

Joining Samia on the winter leg of her Honey tour, Tommy Lefroy brought a set to remember. The indie pop duo is made up of Tessa Mouzourakis and Wynter Bethel.

Their Boston set consisted of a 12-song setlist – their entire discography along with unreleased “Runner.” Of the 12, their most notable was “Worst Case Kid” which was an unexpected treat for the crowd: pure euphoria. Though one of their new releases, “Worst Case Kid” was a hit. It’s one of those songs that sound even better live. Another memorable song was “Northern Towns,” which is about Alex G. Other crowd favorites were “Jericho Beach” and “Flight Risk.”

The duo even let their drummer Joey Hayscarl have a quick solo, where he sang a quick song to the crowd, generating cheers and applause!

The two were very conversational with the crowd, sharing about their exes, how they met, and the stores that they shopped at. The crowd interaction made the show more intimate, where fans were sharing about their love lives and all the heartbreak they’ve felt. Tommy Lefroy also took the opportunity to share about their new EP, which comes out on March 10th!

If you’re looking for a show full of crowd interaction, check out Tommy Lefroy!
