Australian singer and songwriter Vance Joy sold out the iconic Chicago Theatre for his tour celebrating the release of his third studio album, “In Our Own Sweet Time.” From the moment he stepped on stage, the crowd was on their feet ecstatic to hear songs from the album live for the first time and older hits from his discography. His indie pop/folk style attracted people of all ages out to the show to share a night of music, singing, and dancing to nostalgic throwbacks such as his iconic song “Riptide,” released in 2013, to newer fan favorites from his latest album such as “Missing Piece” and “Clarity.” With the help of his incredibly talented band members, lively lighting design, and enthusiastic cheers from the crowd, this show instantly became one to remember.
